Classroom Assistant: Ginny Rogers
I have two children. My son is eleven
and my daughter is eight. They both attended UOPC preschool.
When my oldest attended, I fell in love with the school and said
that one day I would really like to work here. Here I am!
I was a stay at home mom for nine years and then for the past
two years substituted in the Octorara School District. I also
teach Sunday School at the church I attend. I look forward to a
fun and exciting year!
Classroom Assistant: Pam Pacana
Pam has been a member the
UOPC Preschool staff since its beginning in September, 1993. She
is a teacher's assistant in two of the 3 year old classes and a
4 year old class. Prior to working at the preschool, she
worked at Octorara Area Elementary School as a teacher's
assistant and as an office assistant in the Guidance Dept.
"I'm very proud of UOPC Preschool and our staff because we
prepare the children to be successful in kindergarten. And
we do this in a loving and Christian atmosphere."
Classroom Assistant: Lynette DiSciullo
I joined the UOPC staff in 2008 as the Pre-K teacher's aide. My twins attended UOPC for 2 years and loved it, therefore I was very excited when the opportunity arose for me to work here. The children, parents and staff are all wonderful, and I enjoy working with all of them.
Teacher: Jeanne Boarts
I'm married and have 4
children and 13 grandchildren. I have been in some sort of
Children's ministry for over 40 years, Sunday School, Bible
School, "School Release Time", Art Camp, and 4 years with the
UOPC Preschool. Every child is a precious gift from God and it
is a joy to share in the lives of these little ones.
Teacher: Renee Miller
I am Renee A. Miller. I have been teaching at the preschool for 2 years. I have 3 boys. Two of them have gone through UOPC and
one will start next year. I
taught third grade for 8 years
in the public school system and
stopped to be a stay at home
mom. I love working with
children and seeing their growth
from the beginning of the year
to the end of the year.
UOPC Preschool Staff
Director: Carol Dunn
Carol taught at the Interboro Dist. For 30 years, and retired in 2000. She taught
at UOPC Pre-School for one year in 2004, and became the Director
in July 2005.
Carol is married to Judd Dunn and
they have a 16 year old son, Bill. She loves this pre-school and
really enjoys working with the children and their families. She
holds a BS and a Masters degree in elementary education.
Administrative Assistant/Classroom Assistant:
Debbie Miller
Debbie Miller is a teacher's aide and also serves as office assistant to the preschool director. She is a graduate of West Chester University. Debbie joined the UOPC staff in 2003. All three of her children are "graduates" of the preschool and Debbie believes that UOPC preschool gave each of them a great foundation in both their academic skills and Christian values. Debbie enjoys working with the children in the crafts center and in teaching praise songs. She says this preschool and its staff are like a second home to her.


Teacher: Stephanie Kerrigan
A graduate of Ursinus
College, married to John for twelve years, and mother of four
energetic children: AJ (8), Joshua (6 ½), Bryce (4), and Elyse
(2 ½). AJ and Joshua attended UOPC and Bryce is currently
enrolled. The 2009-2010 school year was my first teaching year
at UOPC. It has been exciting to be back in the classroom after
seven years “off” while raising my own kids and watching
numerous others. In my spare time I tutor children ages five
through high school, teach Sunday School, and help out with our
elementary school’s PTO.
Teacher: Sheila Sharadin
I have two children, Rebecca
who is five and Grace who is two. My husband, Jon, is the
service manager at Hershey Motors. I graduated from
Millersville University in 2004. My degree/certification is in
special education and elementary education. I love kids
and I love teaching! I have been teaching at UOPC since 2009. My
favorite colors are purple and yellow. My favorite animals
are rabbits and cats. I love to read when I get a free
moment to myself. I love to sing also, which means your children
will be learning some new songs this year! I love to learn
and I hope to instill that value in every child I teach!

Classroom Assistant: Dawn Hayes
Dawn Hayes is a classroom
assistant for the 3 day /three year olds, and is the
teacher/leader for the Time For 2’s class. Dawn is very
creative and energetic, and her students just love coming to
school. Miss Dawn and her husband, Skip, are raising their
three children and are very involved with their church and
Sunday school. Dawn and her family enjoy camping trips and
travel. We all love Miss Dawn!
Classroom Assistant: Jeanie Barnett
Jeanie taught kindergarten at Octorara Primary Learning Center for 38 years and is recently retired. She holds degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. Jeanie is a wife, mother and a proud grandmother. Miss Jeanie loves story telling, songs and poems. She brings many talents to the classroom!
